The Gifted Parent Advisory Committee
Meeting will be held on April 8th at 5:30 pm at the high school LGI
room. The students are excited to
present some of the things they have been working on this year.
The top ten from our Math 24 Challenge tournament
will continue practicing to compete in the Schuylkill IU 29 tournament on May 9th. Students who qualified will be bringing home permission
slips and more information soon.
The fifth grade K’Nex team competed in
the 2019 K’Nex STEM Challenge on March 27th at the Schuylkill
Intermediate Unit. Our team built a crane that can pick up and move three
different objects at least six inches and put them back down. The team earned second place at the
competition and received medals along with Knoebel’s Amusement Resort passes
for their entry. I was very proud of all
the time and effort that the team put into their project.
As always, please contact me with any
questions or concerns.
